The Silicon Valley Elevator Pitch is a monthly event for early stage high tech startup entrepreneurs. The Silicon Valley Elevator Pitch is a great opportunity for startup entrepreneurs to give a 2 minute elevator pitch to a panel of seasoned Angel Investors.
The next Silicon Valley Elevator Pitch will be held on July 27 at Reed Smith in Palo Alto located at 1510 Page Mill Rd # 110, Palo Alto, CA 94304
This monthly event is sponsored by PeopleConnect, a 18 year-old high tech startup recruiting firm and Fathom Law, a modern business and technology law firm, led by Eric Ferraro, a former startup founder and CEO. Leading the event is Max Shapiro, CEO of PeopleConnect, who has been producing monthly pitch events for several years including PitchForce (pitch-force.com), which is held on the second Thursday of each month, also at Galvanize.
Presenters are chosen on a first come first served basis, and only 10 startup entrepreneurs are allowed to pitch at each event.
YOU MUST SIGN UP ONLINE, AND WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO DO SO ASAP. SELECT THE 'Pitching Entrepreneurs' TICKET TYPE TO REGISTER!
Presenters will receive instructions on the 8 key points to cover in your pitch, as well as a sample pitch. Pitches will be reviewed by the SF ElevatorPitch team prior to the event, to make sure that you are delivering a message that will resonate with the panel. In addition please send your 2-minute manuscript for our review accompanied by a video of your pitch to: email@example.com.
Following your 2 minute pitch, there will be 4 minutes of questions and answers, followed by 4 minutes of non-rebuttal feedback. After the feedback, judges vote on a 1 to 5 scale (5 being the best!) as to what they think of your idea, your chances for success, and the quality of your pitch. This is a great opportunity to find out what experienced and savvy Angels think of your startup and how it stacks up to the competition.
